Heating

Home Comfort is more than controlling the temperature inside your home.  Home Comfort is the consistent quality of your total indoor environment.

  1. Do you have a system that dehumidifies as it cools?
  2. A central humidifier to bring humidity into your home during the winter months?
  3. Is your system quiet and energy efficient?

How to Choose a Heating Solution best for you.

Single Stage
A traditional home comfort system has two parts: an outdoor unit such as an air conditioner or heat pump, and an indoor unit.  The furnace is the indoor unit that heats and circulates warm air through your home in the winter; and in the summer, it takes the cool air from the outdoor unit and works as a fan to circulate it throughout your home.  The indoor and outdoor units are designed to work together.  When the furnace is properly matched with a heat pump or air conditioner, the result is maximum efficiency and extended system life.  Choose a Single Stage if you want economy and dependability.

Two Stage  -  Longer run times in the first stage mean the discomfort of temperature swings is virtually eliminated.  While the furnace may actually run longer, it ultimately uses less energy during the first stage operation than single stage furnaces.  Choose a Two Stage if you want high efficiency, more even temperatures throughout your home and quiet operation.

Two Stage/Variable Speed  -  Unlike standard blower motors, the operation of continuous fan operation with a variable speed ECM (electrically com-mutating motor) blower motor offers many benefits, including more constant temperatures throughout your home, increased efficiency/lower operating costs, improved indoor air quality/increased air filtration, and reduced operating sound levels.  Choose a Two Stage/Variable Speed if you want the most efficient with the maximum comfort.

Keep in mind,
buying a new or replacement furnace isn’t as simple as stopping by your local home improvement store.  Installing a furnace needs to be done by a professional to ensure it is safe and running properly.  Improperly installed equipment can void warranty information, cause health hazards and decrease the life of the system.
